Workplace Safety

Knowing your rights and responsibilities are vital for working so that you can stay safe.  

-You have the right to refuse to do something if it is unsafe

-You have the right to be included in stuff; you can't be discriminated

-You have the responsibilities to protect yourself and anyone around you.

-You are responsible for reporting anything unsafe things and accidents as well as wearing safety equipment when required

-You have the right to be in a safe and healthy workspace and to be trained for all work

 

How do these all go together?

To get a job first you need to find a workplace and to get hired you need to have a resume. Once you are hired you need to know your rights and responsibilites.
